Austin, a screenwriter, and Lee, a neerdowell drifter are house sitting for their mother while she's away in Alaska. As the world outside the house continues to spin, inside the house the brothers' already rocky relationship begins to go up in flames. Set against the scorching heat of a Southern California summer, True West is a play about cycles of addiction, family trauma, toxic masculinity and toast.
