Watch the Cave Match Champions open for BATS Company Show: Improv! Improv! Improv!

Over the past two months, teams of improvisers from across the Bay Area have duked it out in a tournament that has culminated in one winner: the champions, Coyote Pack!

Coyote Pack will open for our company show Improv! Improv! Improv! on Saturday, May 24th at 7pm.

The Format: Coyote Trails is a 37-minute improvised show with time jumps exploring interconnected lives. Launched by a single audience suggestion, two performers begin a scene while the others stand ready to walk on or tag in. If someone tags in, the player who remains keeps their character, and the newcomer appears as a fresh role or one we’ve already met - revealing new dimensions of the established character. Time jumps (backwards or forwards) allow us to explore pivotal moments in each character’s life. At any point, the story can shift to follow someone else, expanding the tapestry of interconnected lives.
